FaithWeaver Friends

FaithWeaver Friends' large group and small group activities encourage learners to weave faith into their lives. By providing meaningful activities, great discussions, and personal challenges, FaithWeaver Friends takes learners past the "head knowledge" of the Bible and into heart-and life-change.

With FaithWeaver Friends, children:

  • experience God's story in fresh, fun, meaningful ways;
  • understand God's word by doing surprising, fun stuff;
  • discover the adventure of applying God's truth to everyday life; and
  • build a forever friendship with Jesus - the best friend they could ever have!

Led by people who love God, enjoy being with children, and are accepting and supporting, the children are engaged in activities such as games, crafts, drama, music, and snacks.

Each quarter of FaithWeaver Friends this year focuses on a different fruit of the Spirit. Our first "fruit" is Self Control.

The children are assigned to small groups by age. At present, we have three groups: JK & SK, Grades 1 & 2, and Grades 3-5. There are about 30 children registered in the program. Each exciting session takes place on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 at the church. For more information or to register your child please contact the church at (613)489-0104 or contact@cornerstonewesleyan.com

Children's Church

This is an exciting learning experience for children from age 3 to Grade 5. Our Children's Church is lead by trained and gifted individuals who have a real love for children. This ministry takes place on Sunday mornings after the children have been with their families for the first 20-30 minutes of the 9:00 a.m. morning worship experience.

Nursery

We provide a staffed nursery for children up to 3 years of age during our Sunday worship experiences. Parents are encouraged to allow our workers to care for their little ones in a safe and comfortable atmosphere but are also welcomed to have their children with them in church.

VBS

Is a fun-filled, energy-intensive week held in the month of August. During the mornings of the week children come together to sing, learn about God, hear stories, create crafts, play in outdoor activities and enhance their imagination. The week's theme for 2009 will be " Crocodile Dock ".
