Riverside Community Church

Pastor Peter and Jenita Naylor
A Brief Introduction...
Swastika United Church closed its doors at the end of June, with a rich history of 100 years in the community.  When the offer came to continue ministry here, the Wesleyan Church of Canada took up the call and Riverside Community Church was born!  Pastor Peter Naylor and his family are excited to be able to be part of this vibrant community!

Riverside Community Church has recently moved to a new location in Swastika! They have purchased and refurbished the former local Public School - creating a new multi-purpose worship and community centre. They celebrated their Grand Opening and third anniversary this past November (2014). The new location is 30 Grenfell Ave. Swastika, Ontario.
Swastika is a beautiful community with many young families. The river flows through the entire community and Swastika's beutiful riverside park is well-loved destination for family outings, picnics, and weddings.
Riverside Community Church serves the West-Kirkland Lake areas - Swastika, Kenogami, Sesekinika and communities along Hwy. 112. Their hope is that the new church building can be used in a variety of capacities to serve the community.
Their Mission...

Their desire is to introduce people in their community to Jesus Christ, disciple believers and promote the planting of healthy churches locally and worldwide.

"But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”

- Jeremiah 17:7-8
